3 IMPORTANT PICTURES
Tuesday January 1, 2013 6:15 pmWell, I just got in from Planet Fitness and I want to tell all of you about something you ought to rush out and buy, no kidding. After I got off work this evening I went to workout and then I showered and was walking toward the door when I decided to stop in the small room just off of the main lobby. Inside this room are two hydro-massage beds. I felt like a rube from the country as after about five minutes being given a full body massage by this incredible machine I was calling everyone I could call and telling them about this thing!
Have you ever had a full body massage given to you by someone with big strong hands? Well, neither have I. However, that's what it must feel like. Because I am a guy I had to imagine a big female Swede named Gretchen or maybe Gerta? Now neither of these girls would be much to look at: but, big and strong with hands like a stevedore... you betcha (:
This thing is like a (heated) water bed and the pulsating water starts at your feet and rolls along all the way to your neck, then back down again... it was great! After about seven or eight minutes I started lifting my legs at the knees so my feet were flat on the mattress when it started back down my legs. To be honest... this tickled my feet just a little, but it was still awfully good. My arms were already exhausted from lifting and then coupling that with a hot shower and now this bed: well, for a minute or so after it had cycled through and quit I thought I might have to call out to the girl at the front desk to help pull me out of this thing (: I think I could have fallen asleep on the spot. Regardless the cost... this bed would be worth it!
For the past few blogs I have been uploading some pictures. Some of them I have really liked, especially with the girls and others in them. Tonight though, I will post three that are very nice.
Last evening at our church watch night service Aaron, one of my grandsons told the pastor he would like to "preach" a message. The pastor said that sounded nice. This first picture was Aaron behind the pulpit and ready to begin. He did a really good job. Poor little guy is almost hidden by the pulpit (:
Bob, Aaron's dad and Tammy's husband followed his son and he delivered a well thought out message!
Not to be outdone, Ethan, Aaron's brother helped to collect the offering. He is the very ornery boy on the right. Tammy and Bob gave him my first name as his middle name. It's funny, but he is such an ornery little boy I can't help but believe there is some sort of divine providence in giving him that name (:
Well, I hope those I love have had a great start to this new year and many happy times ahead!!!!!!! I know, I use an awful lot of superfluous exclamation marks!!! See... I did it again :)
