CATCHING UP TO "REAL TIME" 7 VIDEOS AND 1 PICTURE!
Thursday January 3, 2013 1:33 pmWith this upload I will have recorded something for each of the first three days of the new year and they will all be downloaded. By doing it like this I won't remain one day behind throughout this year.
I want to apologize beforehand for how I am having to do this today. I had no idea when I started to record that a video of approximately 50 seconds is all that my email will accept. As I was recording this morning I thought I was going to have two videos and one picture to upload as I had recorded in two different spots, a parking lot and an old cemetery. However, once I returned home I realized I was going to have to break these recordings into separate sections... else they wouldn't work.
Because of that I am sure that there will either be a skipped place in the sequence or they might overlap? Either way it was a nuisance for me to do it like this and I am sure it will also be somewhat troublesome to view in this manner as well. I assure you that today I learned what I probably should have already known and I will keep all future videos under that 50 second limit.
The first video, in three parts, will be of the parking lot of what used to be my favorite local park: that is before the former mayor destroyed it with bulldozers!

This morning was very cold and clear... a good day for walking or hiking unless you have asthma? After I got home I took another shot of Flovent :) What's really bad about all of this is when Virgil and I got there about 9:00 and as we were leaving about 9:45 there was not another single soul in the entire park! I counted the parking spaces for this new lot and it can now park more than 125 vehicles. Admittedly, this morning was very cold... yet, when I used to go there with the old lot holding maybe 30 cars (regardless of weather or temperature) there would always be cars there and people hiking the trails.
This next one is a picture of the small plaque stating the name of this family cemetery.
The video I am uploading now: in four parts ): I took from inside the small graveyard. Recently vandals have either taken or destroyed several of the old headstones... that is a real shame!!!
Well.. that's done. I am sure that part of this might be cut out or some of the clips overlap? Either way... I won't do this anymore as I will keep the clips much shorter. I also want to say one other thing. I am going to try and be faithful and upload a short clip every day. I suppose I ought to allow for a way out in case I don't do this all year long? So, I will say that right now my mind is set and I am going to do this... unless I have a "girly moment" and inexplicibly change my mind :)
