WINTERTIME :)
Friday February 1, 2013 8:03 am
This morning I had to get up early to
take Roger to work. His old shift was 4-10 and his new one is now
3-9. He works about 30 minutes away off of Bardstown Road in
Louisville, so I had to get up at 2:00 am.
Everyone's mind is a pretty amazing
thing. Now, we all know that there is a part of us that never
actually sleeps, at least not fully: and that is our brain. If it ever
shut down while our body slept then we would die because we would
forget to breathe. Anyway, again this morning I thought of what a
wonderful design God used to make our bodies. This might seem like
something insignificant but I knew I had to be up by two o'clock so
three or four times before I drifted off I repeated that number...
two: then I fell asleep.
I opened my eyes this morning and
looked at the clock, 1:58. I can do this all the time, and I bet
everyone who reads this can do the very same thing. Consciously I
didn't try to figure the number of minutes between the last time I
looked at the clock before sleeping and the difference between that
number and the time I needed to be awake. However, automatically my
brain does that for me... and for everyone else as well. It's just
really neat stuff :) I would encourage everyone to read Psalm 139:14
this morning.
The video I am uploading was taken
after I had dropped Roger off at work. And the picture was from last
night while I was driving Steph home. The picture does not do the
snowfall justice. It is because I was only able to pick up with my
headlights what was easily seen. However, the snow was falling
heavily for just a little while and it caused Steph to say it looked
like we were in a big glass snowball and someone had just shaken it
up.
I hope everyone has a great day
today... and if it is icy wherever you live, please be careful. (I
also had a very crazy dream last night.) lol
