JUST ANOTHER DAY... YEP!
Friday April 27, 2018 4:57 pmIn a certain sense it seems it has taken more than a lifetime to get to this day, or... it has passed quicker than a weaver's shuttle; I suppose it depends on the mood I'm in whenever I think about it. One truth for certain, beginning in the morning it really will be the first day of the rest of my life.
While it is true that such a statement could be made upon waking each new day... now will be the first time that my time will be my own: I've never known that before. My life of "have to" will be much less now than before.
I chose this date to retire so I don't have a new date to remember when the calendar makes another full circle... as this date already has significance for me: even if it is only important to myself.
I hope any who reads this has a good day today... and going forward many good years to follow.
