NEW COMPUTER... BUT SADLY, SAME OLD ME

Many weeks ago I had one of my sons-in-law set up a new computer system I had gotten as a Christmas present seven months before. That's right, I am quick about things!
Anyway, for me at least the allure for this new computer was that I could clear away my laptop and access everything through my tv screen... thereby giving me much more desk top area to keep more of my junk on. Clear so far?
Even though my son-in-law who set this up for me is good with computers, it took him a few hours because he had to adjust the "refresh rate" with my tv so it would become compatible with the new system. Because it was taking so long for him to be done I didn't stay in the room watching. Soooo, as he was setting it up apparently he made a new email account as a matter of record. That in turn caused me not to be able to access my blog, until a few minutes ago when I figured out how to finally get back into my old blog.
I've said all that to simply say I can now write more inane posts! I have somewhat of an anniversary coming up and I like to at least comment on it... now I guess I can.
Joe and I are once again bachelors this week. Our oldest daughter and her family are on vacation and my wife is in the country at their house watching Presley... their young dog. As a side note, our oldest grandson Aaron (who is a huge fan of Elvis) did in fact wear his blue suede shoes as they visited the Elvis mansion in Memphis today :)
To recap, my computer is new but I'm not :(
